How to Use

This is our most matte styler, and to make the most of it, get your hair as dry as you can to help it look like you don't have any styling product in at all. A little goes a long way, so start with a little bit and work your way up. Rub half a pea-sized amount between your palms to emulsify and work from root to tip (sounds like something a hairdresser would say, but it works).

Design Inspiration

The finger slide panel's design was based on the exact dimensions of the air intakes on a Lamborghini Aventador, and the aluminium front panel was an homage to the Audi R8's side panels. The product’s dimensions were developed using the Golden Ratio (1:1.618), and we even etched the dimensions into the side (98mm x 68mm x 35mm). The interior of the packaging has no hard corners to minimise wastage. We designed this curve to be the exact radius of the average male fingertip. We wanted the click of the packaging closing to sound like a finger snap, so we set up a recording studio in Chicago to help achieve this. The rubber gasket underneath the aluminium plate on the bottom is a trick borrowed from Apple. It prevents the product from sliding around your bathroom and protects the surface at the same time.
