AL1 Anti Jet Lag Capsules: The Men’s Travel Hack That Won an Esquire Travel Award

Our AL1 Anti Jet Lag Capsules have just been awarded the “Best Travel Hack” at the 2026 Esquire Travel Awards. We’re over the moon. But to be honest, we’re also a bit amused, because AL1 originally started as one of Patrick’s side projects.

For a company that makes the best skin care and hair care on the planet, Anti Jet Lag Capsules probably seem like a strange thing to launch. And they are. The truth is, Patrick originally made them for himself.

Most of our labs and partners are based in the US. Patrick is based in Sydney, which means a lot of long-haul flights, brutal time zones, airport lounges, hotel rooms, early meetings and functioning on zero sleep.

So after years of pounding red bulls and sleeping tablets, he asked the lab to make him something that could help.

They came back with about 15 different ingredients. But there was no way Patrick was lugging 15 bottles of supplements around the world, so he asked them to put them into two capsules. One AM to support alertness, focus and memory. And one PM to support rest, recovery and restorative sleep.

SCIENTIFICALLY BACKED, CLINICALLY PROVEN
  • Cognitive Performance (Bacopa Monnieri) - Traditionally used to support memory, learning and mental performance. Selected for the AM formula when clear thinking matters most.
  • Mental Clarity (Ginkgo Biloba) - Used to support focus and cognitive function during demanding schedules and long travel days.
  • Energy (Panax Ginseng) - Traditionally used to support energy production and help combat fatigue.
  • Recovery & Resilience (Ashwagandha) - An adaptogenic herb selected to support wellbeing during periods of stress and disruption.
  • Digestive Comfort (Ginger) - Travel can be hard on the digestive system. Ginger has traditionally been used to support digestive comfort and wellbeing.

After using them and landing feeling like himself again, he sent them to our friends at the BWT Alpine F1 Team, who travel more than most pilots. They rocketed up the standings, from last place in 2025 to 5th place in 2026. So we released them into the wild.

Guys have been loving them. And now, something that started as a side project has just won Esquire’s Best Travel Hack.
