Why Does Packaging Matter?

On Meta, one of the ads we run talks about how we’ve made every aspect of the product better. From the formulas to the fragrance to the packaging. And we get the same comment all the time. “Why does packaging matter?”, “It’s just going in the bin anyway”, “Who cares about the packaging?”. Trust us when we say those are the polite ones.

We’ve always thought it would be a shame to build the best formulas on the planet and then put them in cheap packaging. Packaging matters, and not just for how it looks.

First, it has to perform. We build our products to last longer than most, and if you put that formula into cheap packaging, it gives out before the product does. Cracked lids, broken hinges, leaks that run through your bag. We design ours so they last the full lifetime of the product.

Second, it changes how you feel when using it. A lot of products in this category scream hair loss, and guys hide them under the sink or behind the mirror. Ours are designed to sit in your bathroom like they belong there, with a clean, monochrome aesthetic that elevates the look of your bathroom.

And third, sustainability. All of our outer packaging is made from FSC-certified cardboard, while our inner tubes use post-consumer recycled plastic wherever possible. It means that not only are the products better for you but better for the planet too.

If you want products that look as good as they perform, you know where to find us.
